All manuscripts submitted to Fluktuasi: Journal of Economy undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure the integrity, quality, and academic contribution of each article. Both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous throughout the review process.

Review Workflow:

  1. Initial Screening
The editorial team will conduct an initial check to ensure that the manuscript fits the journal’s scope and formatting requirements. Manuscripts may be rejected at this stage if they do not comply.

  2. Plagiarism Check
Manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software. Submissions with a similarity index above 20% will be returned or rejected.

  3. Peer Review Assignment
Manuscripts passing the initial screening will be assigned to at least two independent reviewers with relevant expertise in the subject area.

  4. Review Process
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodology, relevance, clarity, and contribution to the field. They will recommend one of the following decisions:

    • Accept without revision

    • Accept with minor revisions

    • Revise and resubmit (major revisions)

    • Reject

  5. Author Revision
If revisions are required, the manuscript will be returned to the authors for correction. Authors are expected to respond to reviewers’ comments and resubmit within the specified time (usually within 2–4 weeks).

  6. Final Decision
The final decision to accept or reject a manuscript is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the revised submission.

  7. Copyediting and Publication
Accepted manuscripts will undergo copyediting and layout formatting before being published in the upcoming issue.
